oh man maybe this is my tragic backstory.
Obviously I should go take a flying tumble into the poisonous underbrush outside my house. It can’t just be me, though. Someone has to push me. And I think that person has to be like… a CEO for some company that wants to cut down a forest. Or something.
Oh, I looked it up, it is poison ivy. I’m an idiot. I’ve been handling poison ivy all week.

anyway I’ve been clearing vines out of my yard all week to prepare for gardening season!
And yesterday I was mowing the yard and that involved picking up more stray vines, so whatever they are I am obviously having some kind of reaction to them. More incentive to get them the fuck outta my yard, I guess.
I’ll wear gloves and long sleeves next time.

I was thinking Alicia looked very bizarre in the T-shirt, but now I see she’s Elias in drag.
I also like how the first panel in each of them kept up the fucked up word balloons theme.
1. You’re supposed to read “see? father blavhagabbv” first but you naturally go to Sally’s balloon first becauuuseee it’s on the left!
2. What is with that weird pause between “I was fortunate” and “to have”. Why not cut that dialogue off at “existed.”
Maybe a bug flew into her mouth between the balloons.
What a great resource on how to not make comics!

For some reason I am inclined to break down my comic book collection for you. Probably because of uhhh you know, something I saw that I couldn’t really relate to.
Anyway, I just sort of want to embarrass myself I guess, because that’s fun. :D
So, I own more Archie comics than anything else. D: Hey everyone’s like 13 once okay
Second is DC published things on account of my love of Batman and more specifically Arkham villains, then manga (since I have all these volumes of Lupin The Third sitting on my shelf being AWESOME), then Dark Horse because Bone rules and also I love Mike Mignola (just read five issue arc of Baltimore, badass wooden legged vampire hunter, yeaahhhh), then Bongo comics because wow I own a lot of simpsons comics how did that happen!! then Image because of The Maxx
I don’t really have a lot of webcomic books unfortunately, though, maybe someday I will have more! I wouldn’t mind!
Anyway I guess I just like comics. And now my parents can’t be mad at me about it because I make them too, heh! Take THAT mom and dad! *skulks about comic shops in army jacket*
Oh man I also have like all of Bloom County. I should read those again, I bet they’ll make WAY more sense than they did to me when I was 10.
